The Story Behind Rogers Sign Company
Rogers Sign Company evolved from a childhood dream of owner, Lynn J. Rogers.
At the age of 6, Lynn wanted to be a sign painter. Living in small town rural america growing up in the 50’s & 60’s the only way to learn the art of sign painting was to hide in the bushes and admire the sign masters at work.
During this time period the “old timers” would not share their wisdom with anyone. As Lynn started out doing everything the wrong way, he worked for years to improve his knowledge and skills in the art of sign writing by continuing to watch the masters, read any and all trade publications and books on the craft.
Lynn then hung out his shingle and opened the door awaiting his first paying customer.
In the late 1960’s working in a small garage with no heat - Lynn describes it as a “Model A Ford”. Fortunately in 1971 a larger garage was added- we call this the beginning - Lynn then hung out his shingle and opened the door awaiting his first paying customer. In 1984, another shop was attached to the existing garage, many many bright idea’s were created in this small space. In 1996, a new state of the art facility was built and the rest is history.
Rogers Sign Co., Inc. has grown from one man’s dream to a creative team of skilled employees from the production staff, graphics department, wood/metal shop fabricators, warehouse/fleet management, paint shop and road crews. Rogers Sign Company now serves the entire Del-Mar-Va peninsula and continues to grow in creativity and size.

Rogers Sign was established in 1971. We are a full service sign company with manufacturing facility located in Milton Delaware. Our facility is state of the art and is equipped to fabricate, install and service any type of sign imaginable. Rogers Sign specializes in LED and electronic message centers. Rogers Sign also has a full service art department that serves all our clients needs from the initial design to the fully completed graphic project.
